Lafayette McLaws commanded divisions in several crucial battles. We will add information on the role and outcome of McLaws and his troops for each of the the individual engagements outlined below during the coming year. September 9 - 15, 1862 - South Mountain, Maryland
September 17, 1862 - Antietam, Maryland
December 13, 1862 - Fredericksburg, Virginia
May 1 - 4, 1863 - Chancellorsville, Virginia
July 1 - 3, 1863 - Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
September 19 - 20, 1863 - Chickamauga, Georgia
November 16, 1863 - Campbell's Station, Tennessee
November 29, 1863 — Fort Loudon, Knoxville, Tennessee
December 10 - 20, 1864 - Savannah, Georgia
March 16, 1865 - Averasborough, North Carolina
March 18 - 20, 1865 - Bentonville, North Carolina
